Now you make me wonder is it possible to extract coffee in alcohol? Would it work and how would it taste?
(I assume this rum was made with extract of some kind rather than beans)
Yes. It works much like vanilla extract, which is classically done with whiskey or vodka. Ethanol takes on most flavors pretty readily.
It’s a great ingredient. You wouldn’t want to drink it neat.
Yes, bad but you can try it. Got a French press? Just replace hot water with room temp vodka.
Fairly confident it's either an extract or 100% artificial as it tastes like those little hard Kopiko lollies...
