The guns aren't about fighting off the US Army.
The guns are about fighting back against 12 rednecks long enough for the state cops/whoever to get there and save the day.

True. An unprecedented test of our democracy is coming faster than I ever thought possible.
We’d have to join together in militias and occupy/defend cities. Then, people might stand a chance at least resisting.
The authorities aren’t coming to save us. They’re the enemies who swear allegiance to a fascist regime.
Dude our national military has trillions in equipment and training.
If they turn on civilians, our guns aren't going to do anything but delay how long it takes them to murder us all. There's no point in planning for that scenario because if you get there, you've already lost.
Nah, as one of the founders said: We either hang together now or we hang together later.
