Some signs aren't designed for it. Like they hav four slots for digital numbers and a physical "." Painted on the signed between the first and second display. Not just a single display that shows "#.###"

I believe some are also digital, but use, as you said, a fixed decimal place on the road sign, so, in order to show 10.00, yould not only have to shift/ paint over the fixed decimal, the systems would have to be adjusted to $1, which no station owner wants.

(Dont tell trump - hed just try that and say he reduced the price of gas)

There was a time we thought gas wouldn't go over a dollar a gallon, or in Canada over a dollar a litre and yet we've adjusted

It wasn't that hard to adjust, wasn't it? You just needed to add a zero.
