Wash your feet
well I'm not sure how making them wetter would have helped. it's not a bacterial infection... drying would have done the trick
If you actually got trench foot at a theme park, which is extremely unlikely, then there's almost certainly an underlying issue of hygiene/fungus.
Likely you got extremely pruney feet with blisters
Actual trench foot usually needs more than 12 hours of soaked feet and cold weather because one of the contributing factors is cold-induced vasoconstriction that leads to underlying deep tissue death and nerve damage.
Is it possible to get it in a day? Very unlikely, but possible. Much less likely from wet feet at a theme park or whatever, and if then, only from disgusting feet with an underlying problem already.
