It isnt, most european countries usually have much lower prices. Even with the current situation the median is arround 8usd/gallon.
You must live where it's cheaper. I gassed up this morning in Scandinavia and it was over 2.4€ per liter for diesel.
I just saw €2,56 diesel on my way home today. (For the americans, that'd be around $11,2 per us gallon.
Which is only 8.4€ per galloun.
Where is it $10 per galloun in Europe?
Your math is off though.
€2.40 per Liter is actually €9.08 per gallon, which would be $10.47 per gallon US.
There’s 3.785L to a gallon. 2.40x3.785 is 9.08.
In France I'm seeing 2.1€ per liter of 95-E10
Which is why I, as a Norwegian, have never looked back after switching to a BEV
Well, it's not really an option for me: I don't drive nearly enough in a year for the expense to make financial sense, and I don't want a modern car with all the surveillance equipment built in. I fill up maybe 3 or 4 times a year, but that doesn't mean I don't feel the pain when I do 🙂
