I’ve also looked into it but your body basically need to be donated within 24 hours after death. Makes it basically impossible to have a funeral. Like I don’t give a fuck, but my loved ones probably do.
Your family gets the cremated remains after they're done with it. I guess it might be like a week or so?
We're not big on ceremonies anyway, so delaying for a couple of weeks or holding a wake without any physical remains wouldn't be a big deal.
