Scotland voted remain after being threatened to be blocked from entering the EU by England. And then England stabbed Scotland on the back with the Brexit.

While true, there's no way Scotland would get into the EU any time soon as an independent country. It would be a drawn out process and some member country would inevitably disagree for some reason or another.

Even if not immediately, "slow" is still better than "never" , which is current plan being championed by England at the moment.

This was a common part of the propaganda against independence at the time but for every article claiming Spain would block it, there was another article saying that Spain wouldn't block it. I don't think it makes much sense for Scotland to join the EU given the only country we have a land border with wouldn't be in the EU, so border checks would be necessary which would be unpopular on both sides.
