My ick comes from the centralized repositories, basically building app stores for Linux, and pushing them beyond a distro specific things that usually still have other options on top of the deb or rpm or whatever.
With them fiddling around trying to invade every bit of privacy and us just barely escaping the California law with no idea if it will hold out for future ones I think any centralized source is a liability and should be avoided.
Also, the systemd jackass throwing his own narcissit tech bro bullshit into it to bow down, lick the boot, and comply in advance is another real concern as most distros have moved to it from other init systems. There has to be enough fragmentation here for us to move away from fascist fuckery, and the ridiculous reliance on a single type of packaging isn't good for being able to sidestep stupidity if/when it spread to the people in control of the codebase.
