Maybe they can't handle it.
Ever had to do tech support for family? I can get logic like "[Feature description]. Check the box to enable the feature, or click skip to keep it disabled. You can enable the feature at any later point in the settings." and then they'll furiously yell "For fucks sake, but how do I turn it on? This stupid tech!"

i know exactly what youre talking about and I dont entirely get that behavior either. I understand it, I know why it happens logically, but it feels like a lack of effort or caring to me. It feels like someone saying "just get me my fill I dont care about the consequences"
