I feel like (at least for the time being) at least you can view youtube privately, without giving them revenue. They are continually fighting this, but as far as I am aware they havent tried to sue NewPipe or Invidious (Vanced is exempt from this rule because they thought making crypto currency of Googles IP would end well for them)

Twitter is owned by a known white supremacist who has been directly involved with ruining the lives of millions of people, in addition to the fact you literally can not access the platform right now unless you are contributing to them monetarily.

My frustration is sort of on the flip side. You can get (most of) what Twitter offers elsewhere, aside from specific people and communities. With YouTube, the ways around the machine lead... Back into the machine, ya know?
