It does seem less though.
Like for instance I recently posted a project im working on. Electronic and program project board. (Raspberry pi project).
And I really am a novice, trying to figure things out.
AND. I posted a video explaining the project with drawings and such. So it was obvious I'm a woman.
And guess what? I actually got a few upvotes and a few helpful comments.
No one called me a dumb bitch. No one told me to fuck off.
My post didn't get downvoted into oblivion because I'm a newb. Or God forbid, a woman doing computer things. Which is forbidden because misogyny.
It was quite refreshing and unexpected.
The funny thing is that women made a huge contrivute to IT so there is literally 0 reason for anyone to be a scumbag about women in IT...
(There is 0 reason in general tbf)
I would have expected what you got TBH. Some bonus points for being a lady breaking into the space.
