Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

MODERATORS
So it's nothing more then a layer for games to get shipped via steam sans Gapps integration.
I know that way to ride makes some steps towards faking Gapp or offering some Gapp compatibility, but relying on Play services is essentially a non-starter for me these days, so all of the best games I have for Android mobile would require finding cracked copies.
It's so strange that I got to skip essentially all piracy for a decade and a half in my gaming life, only to watch all of the platform operators except valve enshitify all at once and to an untenable degree
