Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.

Lies I've been told about net zero:
Carbon capture will get us there without drastic changes on the emissions side.
Carbon credits are a good idea and definitely not a way to greenwash and shift blame.
It's cool if we get there in two decades, even though we aren't on track to hit our goals for this decade.
