Lol, at the beginning of the year I was joking about seeing gas at 3€/lt... with what's coming, I think I was overly optimistic.
Europeans are going to be happy if/when they can buy it at all soon...
You still don't understand how bad the last 48 hours have been buddy, all the recent price spikes are just in anticipation of what's happening. Gas stations know it'll be a long time before they can get gas for as cheap as they have it in the tank right now, so they're making money while they can before next shipment.
Oh I absolutely know. That's why I'm saying that gas at 3€/lt was overly optimistic. I was thinking on those prices for Christmas but the way I see it, we'll see them in a month or less.
Italians love their gas cars and in a good portion hate EVs so this is all the more funny because I'm starting to see people fear going to the gas station. Meanwhile, I'll keep driving my Atto3 and paying almost nothing for my recharges.
Even with renewables, electric is going up too...
Like, shit just has to go around Africa now.
And by "shit" I don't just mean oil, the only two shipping routes from Asia to Europe that don't include passing by South Africa.
Europe is absolutely fucked more than anyone else not in the gulf buddy.
