Why?
American Auto manufacturers are doing everything they can to stop Chinese EV from reaching the American market because they are cheaper which would take the market away from them.
Capitalists really hate capitalism when they're not the ones capitalizing.
My guess is they end up rebadging Chinese EVs once the boomer money dries up and SUV sales finally tank. Kinda all depends how long the Moron and Iran keep oil prices jacked to their tits.
