MODERATORS
From what I've heard, PLA sags when a constant force is applied. Phones arent that heavy so it might have worked here but technically since the phone is leaning against the plastic the entire time I guess it could sag over time?
I never liked PLA anyways since I primarily print functional studd and I have been printing exclusively in PETG once I got comfortable with it so I didnt really think too much about the material.
I see. I use PLA for lots of load bearing tasks and I don't think you'd see warping here. Nonetheless there's no real disadvantage to PETG other than slower print speed and fuzzimg if it's not kept really dry.
Yeah I have a nice drying solution built so the drying isnt a problem. I think im using HF PETG so it shouldn't be too much slower.
