So many in this thread confusing feminism with egalitarianism. We have different words for a reason.
I am an egalitarian because I believe everyone is and should be treated equally.
I am both a feminist AND an egalitarian, because I believe everyone should be treated equally. They are not mutually exclusive. That also doesn't mean they mean the exact same thing.
I'm going by the actual definitions and not my own personal take on what they mean. If you feel that then you do you. My only concern is that everyone gets to live happy, healthy, and free from oppression.
