Yet another data point to show that Congress should have an age limit. Because all we have are 80+ year olds deciding how the country is operating based on their backwards ass 3+ generation old ideals that they will never live to see the consequences of.
Congress should have mandatory retirement at whatever age full social security is available. That's the age that Congress determined people should be moving out of the workforce, they should have to do the same.
The country needs to be run by people that actually can keep up with what's going on. That can use email, for fuck's sake.
If they were around during segregation they have no place in government. Octogenarians and older should be prohibited from voting. They get dementia and start calling people racial slurs, and in cases specific to Germany, old nans start throwing up sieg heils and HH's.
