Only if you're scared of people and of developing actually deep and fulfilling connections. And I say that as a very satisfied "cat dad"!
I don't, but if I was forced to choose I'd pick my cats every single time over any human on this planet.
Of course! Have you considered why?
This is basically asking a parent why they pick their children over someone else. Is there anyone you'd value higher than your children?
God. Just like I value people more than pets. Animals are not children, even if we talk about them in that way.
For me my two cats are my adopted children. And there is absolutely nothing I wouldn't do about them. Yes, they are not human, so what? I love them more than anything, more than myself, they are my everything.
Also, to clarify, I never said I value people more than pets. What I said is that I value my family more than anything. And my cats are my family.
