TIL, just like I learned everyday for the last 30 days, that you should never hold an earworm competition (sh.itjust.works)

I thought it was funny to take songs that I find earworms, think "I'll never be royal" or "Hello," and I listened to each back to back. I honestly thought they'd cancel each other out. The winner took over for weeks. It sucks.

Are you ready? These were the 3 songs and you have to listen to all of them in a row:

Wild, the only one of those I find even a bit catchy is royals, the other two aren’t my jam at all, so they aren't sticky for me.

And royals isn’t something that gets earwormy for me, usually. I have other stuff. Like kid’s Christmas songs. If I never hear frosty the snowman ever again..

I'm sure everyone has their own personal satan. I don't suggest finding your own.

Take Me to Church has greater earworm potential than Too Sweet, IMO.

Set Fire to the Rain or Rumour Has It for Adele.

Tobacco Island lodged itself in my cochlea for most of May and June of this year...

Dude, I had to turn off Tobacco Island link because it would get me.

I remember going to flogging molly concerts, they were always a blast. Used to have some of the best times there.

Toad In The Hole and Culann's Hounds are great for that, too. 🤘🏼
