Not at all. I find Celsius much more intuitive but I’m not trying to argue that that is universally true.

Mechanical engineer from a power plant here. Rankine is the best, can confirm. Room temp is like 530 degrees. Now that makes sense.
God I love it when I walk inside when its hot and the temperature is just under 530. The best feeling ever.
You made it sound so nice I set my thermostat at 530 too. The solder melted out of my TV and the magazines on the coffee table spontaneously ignited. On the plus side I can cook a pizza in the living room now instead of getting up to go to the kitchen.
Isn't being intuitive the whole point of metric?
Not really. Easy conversion is the whole point. One litre of water weighs one kilogram (depending on temperature) and fits into a 10x10x10 cm cube.
Compare that with: one quart of water weighs 2.086 pounds and fits into a 3.86 × 3.86 × 3.86 inch cube.
The math and prefix conversion is intuitive (because most of the world uses base-10 these days). There is nothing particularly intuitive or handy for either of them with respect to temperature - you just learn what it means and work with it. I've been using metric since I was 6, so like a good Canadian weather is metric and baking is Fahrenheit. When I talk about combustion points, melting points of metals, boiling point of water, back to metric. See? Intuitive.
I think the point of the meme is that it's a silly premise, and few people actually believe things like this
