MODERATORS
This should be another normal episode. That makes 3 normal episodes this season. Mars, Badmiral and the yesterday's enterprise inspired finale.
Then there was the countdown, ghost ship and underground resistance episodes. These three tow the line but at least the themes weren't shoehorned into the stories. Instead they added to the narrative.
Personally I felt the gimmick episodes this season were the hangover, puppets, soap opera and fairy tale episodes. Too many gimmicks honestly, but at least more than half could be defined as classic trek.
I've read season 5 won't have any because they want to wrap things up with that iny 6 episode order. I will be cautiously optimistic.
