It's true. There's a differance between strong top hand vs strong bottom hand. We're taught strong bottom here in Canada and you get strong top in the US. I just got the stick my brother had.

Interestingly I've been told that batting follows the dominant eye more than handedness. It especially important for those with larger noses 😄. The dominant eye is favored to get the more square view. You can spot those who've been tutored in batting from a young age because they twist their head like an owl to get two eye square on view.
