- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.

Sorry I simply will not vote for someone who supports genocide that's utterly insane.
Won't do it for president and sure as shit won't do it for a senator.
Some lines we cannot cross. I will not capitulate to this liberal framing on this - you simply cannot claim to be progressive in any way if you are ok with the wanton slaughter of innocents by an illegal state with no right to exist.
I'm not disagreeing that genocide is bad but the other guy probably supports Israel as well since they're Republican. It's your right to not vote but anyone else reading and not voting is the same as supporting the other person by allowing them to be voted in. By not picking a side, you're picking a side and giving the other side a free pass. You're basically saying that you are ok if the opposition who supports Israel gets elected because you didn't use your vote to cancel out a vote. Either way you're supporting Israel.
The choice here is to vote for a candidate that supports Israel and the rights of Americans or someone that supports Israel and opposes American rights or not vote and let someone else decide for you. You can wait for your perfect candidate while the opposition votes in theirs. It's your right.
I get it, but that's not how elections under FPTP works. If you want to be single issue about this, you have to vote for a candidate aligned with your choice on this. If such a candidate doesn't exist, you have to vote for the least repugnant one.
If you don't vote, you're cosigning whatever choice everyone else makes. You not voting isn't telling anyone that they didn't get your vote, it's telling everyone that you didn't care about the outcome of that election.
Many population overthrow their dictatorship and risked being kidnapped, tortured, starved and killed but you idiots have fair elections and still making excuses to vote for murderers and terrorists

I can't help this situation in any way if I'm struggling because transphobes make it difficult for me to exist. Your pool of allies against Israel decreases because I'm too busy trying to survive.
There are other ways to protect and aid LGBTQ community members that are much more effective than voting for people who will throw you under the bus at a moments notice.
There's a reason a lot of us trans people are moving to blue states. The Democrats aren't trustworthy but staying in a red state is hell. It still makes a difference so spare the bullshit. Not voting is helping Republicans more than it's helping trans people.
If someone is going to support genocide on Palestinians they will also support the genocide of trans people. The LGBTQ community especially cannot rely on the state to protect them and must build that within their communities (of which I am very involved locally to make happen) but I'm sure you understand this well.
Completely missed the point of what I said. There's still a massive difference between the Republicans and Democrats. This isn't about local communities. Don't both sides this.
