For now, the plan is to get the train running between Denver and Fort Collins. It's already funded and is expected to start service in 2029.
Voters will weigh in this fall on a tax to fund the southern part. The train would be extended to Colorado Springs and Pueblo if voters approve the tax increase.

My only hope is that if we pass this, that it actually gets built, as described, and in a timely manner. Unlike the rail line to Boulder that was voted on in 2004, didn’t start construction until 10+ years later and still doesn’t even go half way to Boulder.
