Not that I trust their privacy-preserving approach considering what got leaked the last time they tried it.

I hate discord but I can’t convince the people I talk to to go elsewhere. And discord just this evening said my account of nine years is too young to see nsfw channels. Par for the course

Personally, as someone who has had to follow friends and friend groups through Skype, Telegram, and Discord when I didn't have any of those things, I am perfectly fine making them do the fucking legwork to follow me this time.
