Gen AI has been a help for science for sure, but asking for results when pipelines are 5+ years long is asking for the impossible and feeling justified when they fail.
There are many valid criticisms of ai and it's usage, effects and users. This is not one of them. The comic is ugly and uncannily ai but is quite representative of AI sentiment.
