~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags.
Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

A time honored tradition.
Except that the post wasn't about fascists hitting fascists.
The drawn character isn't a fascist, it's a representation of ideals. Don't dirty them with your hatred.
The propaganda supersoldier that fights against all the enemies of the USA isn't fascist? The guy that exists only and specifically through military bioengineering, isn't fascist?
Says more about you than about me.
Yeah man, sure, it's all propaganda. People working together, being kind to each other, protecting the weak and other nonsense like that is just military supersoldier fascism.
Don't support any idealized figure because it's just political propaganda. Nothing good is ever real, eh? Nihil much there, bub?
Huh? The basis of captain america is that a weakling becomes an amazing perfect supersoldier thanks to weird immoral experiments, but the evil nazis prevent the experiment to continue (oh no, no more supersoldier army to conquer the world!), and so then he goes and punches Hitler in the face.
It actually was fascist enough to crash down when people started not liking fascism and seeing that the comics was refusing to make captain america be involved in the politics of back then. But I guess that deciding to stand by and watch when witnessing oppression is not fascist, it must be about freedom of speech or whatnot.
The basis is that a brave weakling wants power out of the ordinary to fight out of the ordinary villains. That the origin of the power matters less than what's being done with it. And that even an out of the ordinary man is just one man among many.
No one can lead where people won't follow.
(A bit of a fan-mashup I did a while back, but in the spirit!)
