What is global news?
Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.
Post guidelines
Title format
Post title should mirror the news source title. If you don't like the title of article, look for an alternative source instead of editorializing it.
URL format
Post URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefix
Opinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title. Opinion articles refer to articles that their publisher doesn't explictly endorse.
Country prefix
Country prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) if the news is from a local publisher who doesn't clearly mention the country.

Most religions hate/discriminate against women, not sure what your point is with this though as it doesn't negate what they said at all.

They should have imo, religious shit does not belong in publicly funded schools in secular nations.

As if there aren't Muslim men/women who would shun/harm another Muslim for not following the rules they prefer.
Literally think one step further guy, it's a similar idea as to why power dynamics are an issue when it comes to dating subordinates. It's not as simple as "person decides they want this" its a whole host of environmental and societal factors at play that influence that decision making.

Literally any choice a person makes is influenced by a whole host of environmental and societal factors, so okay and? Most people would shun other people for routinely going out naked and I don't see you advocating for banning clothing.

"Command of Italian" is more closely associated with race than religion.
You are right, Religion is in fact not a race. However, it is strongly associated with race especially when it comes to fear of outsiders. After 9/11 white muslim men had no issues when going though airports. However, if you happened to look Arab you likely where harassed by airport security.
As for Islam, beliefs vary wildly and include people from many different backgrounds. I don't think anyone should be forced into a religion but people should be allowed to practice their faith.
Yes, they can practice their faith, just not in public or in schools. For that matter, no one in a position of power should represent a religion either. I agree with Quebec. That goes for islam and christianity. Most importantly, no religious symbols in government. EVER! keep it out of politics.
