I haven't been keeping track, do they have a Linux client yet? Was it last year they announced they were working on one.
I think it was about 2-3 months ago?
Yes, the announcement is new. I think he (or she) mixed it up with the articles popping up that a Linux client might be in work, due to speculation. So it didn't felt like news when it was official.
There is heroic games launcher and Lutris so who needs a official client?
I use Lutris, and it works really well. A native Linux client would definitely be welcome, though!
Heroic uses heroic-gogdl in the background. Maybe that tool does not support everything the official client would? Would be curious to see what the differences are.
It tracks your playtime, registers chieves, and uploads saves to the cloud. Oh and updates your stuff.
So that's not the actual difference, right?
