Agreed, but he's basically already done that - they're completely subservient to China for the next generation at least, very likely several generations.
If the world can continue to move off of oil, gas, and (jfc) coal we'll be in a better position any which way - which of course is how China's eating the US' lunch because trump's such a frickin tool.
