Boycott US
Overview:
The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.
Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.
America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.
America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

When you accept gifts from a nation, that nation always has expectations.
USA throws money everywhere, something like 90% of countries receive US aid. I was looking into it the other day, and even Germany accepts 10 million in aid... as if they are poor and need help. Ten million isn't much as far as nations go, but when it's a hundred nations receiving aid, that adds up.
Personally, I think the USA should call it even and cease such aid to everyone immediately, but nobody listens to me.
There's a good reason why they're not listening to you.
The USA cutting off aid, like it recently did, is quite literally the single dumbest thing it could do in projecting soft power. You know, like all the soft power they threw away by electing Trump, throwing tariffs around like T-shirts at a sporting event, cutting off USAID with a pen stroke, and generally going out on the world stage and throwing the largest national tantrum of all time.
All that happens when you cease such aid to everybody is other people step in and apply said aid. Then they're the "good guys" in the eyes of the people you've cut off, and Americans are the "bad guys". American soft power wanes. People start talking about not using the USD as the international reserve. They start talking about maybe selling their natural resources in a different direction.
This, of course, is no good for America and, as is typical for arrogant imperial powers, they decide they'll project hard power (guns) to get what they want instead. Only … the USA, the largest and most powerful military in the history of this planet, is losing a war against Iran. To the point that it's running out of key weapons at a rate it can't restore. So now the USA, in projecting hard power, has set themselves up for not being able to project more hard power. In the meantime its rivals, using the soft power that they've poured in to fill what the USA left empty, still has their hard power.
Are you seeing where this is going? No? Well, go to the current US administration. They'll listen to you. To the demise of the nation.
