How would you optimize 4GB VRAM (lemmy.world)

Besides telling me to get a new card, and knowing I play mostly older/emulation games, is there any optimizations I can do with 6400 4 GB card?

Running Bazzite as the OS and 16 GBs of ram.

Good point. If a game requires more VRAM, then the system at least does not freeze and crash. Instead it will use up system RAM for the overhead to have a stable system. But this can mean lower performance if this happens, which is off course preferable over freezing and crashing.
