AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

But many of the concerns are, or are from people with industry ties (universities come to mind) even if they don't work directly for one of these companies. Even people without ties to the industry are basing their concerns off of propaganda they're being fed by AI companies. How many of those people heard "AI broke from containment!" and worked themselves up about it, even though it was an obviously staged publicity stunt?
There are risks, but anyone saying "AI is too powerful" is just parroting the bubble. Doomerism is complementary to the boom.
