A patent that would permit the tracking of individuals?
Patents give limited monopoly power over inventions; they restrict, not permit.
This indicates that Flock already has the technology to track people and just hasn’t deployed it in a manner that is usable by its customers.
Not necessarily, you can patent something you haven’t actually built.
There are a lot of patents for perpetual motion machines after all.
So far, everything I have seen from Flock, as far as technology goes, has been lowest common denominator trash. Their too strength is their ability to sell to the ignorant, easily impressed, luddite local politicians and law enforcement.
Wait until you meet Coram or Other "AI" camera "enhancement" systems
