Switch over to Linux now - the transition is by far not as harsh as it was a decade ago, and with Wine and accompanying technologies you'll be running whatever software you need in no time.

I was running Win10 as a gamer, because there was no alternative back then. Nowadays i am somewhat surprised if i stumble across some software i can't just run, and those are in most cases easily replaceable.
