There are now 13 English Wikipedia entries for the word Nura. This is my biggest criticism of the name. I hope it helps the project. I want a Linux phone that can run native Linux apps by default (and a few other features).

Yep, and allows them to trademark the name, which has some legal benefit.

Descriptive names generally can't be trademarked, so postmarketOS wasn't eligible. Nura is the only computer project with that name and it isn't descriptive, so can be trademarked (in the computer or software field).

a proposal of 4 names for the team to choose from. Those names went through further triaging to make sure it didn't have very problematic connotations in as many languages as we could find speakers, from all continents. All of them passed the criteria

I don't think she's considered problematic.
