EVs are now 9 times cheaper than petrol or diesel to drive in the UK
(www.carbonbrief.org)
This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
i would have already switched to ev in finland, but looking around for charging station and generally not being able to afford one holds me back. getting one used might be even more expensive if i have to replace the batterys.
If you're depending 100% on public fast chargers, I agree it's likely not a good fit economically.
Do you have the space to charge where you live? That's usually the game changer to make EVs slow inexpensive to drive.
i have a space on parking lot, not sure if the heating pylon can be used to charge. Though i would need to constantly go add more time to it if its slow.
