Good on her for smacking that shit down while also trying to stay positive
I was just thinking about that… who cares about being positive to assholes? What even is that? Why do we always equate being mean to being wrong? To my mind it makes everyone intellectually lazy as fuck. Don’t worry about what is being said, just focus on who is being mean? This is how a lot of asshole “nice-wash” their reprehensible views with flowery langauge.
And in the end, being nice no matter what just comes off as passive aggressive, the coward’s way of being mean. Just my two cents.
Yeah, the whole "being civil" thing. Pisses me off to no end.
So if someone uses "civil" words to describe how [insert group of people] shouldn't have rights, that's fine. But when I call that person a fascist and tell him to fuck off, I'm the problem?
