No caps because no shift.
i have a crappy dell wireless keyboard here that doesn't have a NUMLOCK. in some linux distributions or environments it defaults OFF, and i have to rig the DE or numlockx to enable it at login. i only keep it around because it's a kb+mouse set that shares one dongle.. it's handy to move from pc to pc when i need to.
Mine was made for a chemical analyzer for medical and drug testing (it has a METH key, among others!), and firmware-wise the customization was sort of a hack. Keeping numlock on was necessary to make it work how they intended.
