My dad died in May. He was driving for DoorDash up until 3 months before his death. He had his own roofing company for 60 years but it declined after 2008 because people didn't have money to spend like they did after Dubya let Wall Street permanently kill people's spending power, but he made it work until he physically couldn't work anymore.

I don't understand how anyone can be patriotic in this country. Most of us, even if we're surviving, can't afford the lives we enjoyed just five years ago. I imagine most of us are doing our best to float our elderly parents too.

And all to keep the imaginary line going up for a couple thousand billionaires and literally nothing else.
