Which always weirds me out. Like if i were a racist, i would obviously believe this is right and good. So why do racists pretend they are not? Why fo they were masks on tgeir rallies?

They want to sell the illusion that their racist welfare cuts are, in fact, colorblind, or at least to an outward audience. Even in cases when a certain welfare is more enjoyed by whites, such as disability in Hungary, as Fidesz made it harder to access to many disabled people, due to far-right bloggers between 2006-2010 told people, that "voivode and overweight Roma drug dealers" are pretending to be intellectually disabled and amputees, to get welfare money and disabled parking spots for their Mercedeses. Though some bloggers also went after neurodivergent people, and claimed they were pushed into intellectual labor, due to "DEI mandates" and the mothers of those people fucking the way to their children (yes, they plagiarized it from Forrest Gump, because fascists don't have imagination, as seen by the sheer amount of AI slop they pump out).
