This is actually what pisses me off with modern tech, we have soo much computing power that we have forgotten to properly optimize.
What used to be a software problem, writing code efficiently has turned into a hardware problem, with only one solution:
Throw more computing power at it.
Just buy more RAM, bro!
Just sell your house to buy more RAM, bro!
Developers slowly realizing that RAM and CPU cycles aren't forever getting cheaper.
The SUVs of software, basically.
