A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

3 No capitalist apologia, anti-socialism, anti-communism, or liberalism, liberalism is in direct conflict with the left. Support for capitalism or for the parties or ideologies that uphold it are not welcome or tolerated.
4 No imperialism, conservatism, reactionism or Zionism, lessor evil rhetoric. Dismissing 3rd party votes or 'wasted votes on 3rd party' is lessor evil rhetoric.
5 No bigotry, no racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any type of prejudice.
6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

Thats not what an ad hominem is you fucking idiot. You fool, you buffoon. Learn what the concepts you speak of mean, you absolute dolt.
An ad hominem isn't "when you get insulted." An ad hominem is when the quality of your character is tied to the quality of your argument - Something plenty of people do here all the time.
And you're even fucking it more up, because the person isn't even insulting you, unless you count yourself to be someone without a brain! Fucking incredible moronic self-own.
"You suck" is not an ad hominem. "You suck, and therefore your statement sucks" is an ad hominem.

Calling you brainless is just calling you brainless. It is only when the argument is dismissed directly or indirectly through this personal demeaning that it is a logical fallacy. And it doesn't even have to be an insult! But you're too fucking stupid to see that, you just throw words around that you have picked up thru cultural osmosis without ever learning them. Idiot.
Good riddance. The last thing I want is to argue with some well minded individual that sincerely believes the dem establishment is the way out of our situation.
