Let’s say you’re a skilled worker and you’re making $100k per year. Let’s say you get started at 20 years old and work making that wage for your whole working career. If you retired at 65, that’s 45 years of work. In your lifetime you’d be looking at making 9.6% of this guys “pay package” for 1 year because he got lucky and joined while this is going down.
Again, this is 1 year and a single deal. He was hired last year, and is making 10x the lifetime earnings of a highly skilled working class individual.
What the actual fuck is going on here? Is everyone cool with this?
