Hey DT, nice to see you all π₯° I have no idea what I'm doing!!!!!
Well join the club then, we have cool jackets.
on our microwaved potatoes ...
β¦.Sad trombone sound
Speaking of trombones, the new renters across the street from me are professional trombone players - like MSO and stuff. They have the grace to do their practicing during the day fortunately.
Reminds me of an old joke.
What is the definition of a 'gentleman'?
Someone who can play the accordion, but doesn't.
My mate who played the accordion had this picture on his case.
I knew it!!
You would enjoy The Devil's Dictionary by Ambrose Bierce I think. One definition that has stuck with me - Pianoforte: a parlour instrument of torture. It is operated by depressing the keys of the machine and the spirits of the audience.
Found it on the Gutenberg Project. Gotta love free old shit!! :)
Check out 'clarinet' while you're there ... I get the impression that Mr Bierce was not fond of music.
Or maybe not fond of music being played poorly...either way, he's not wrong.
Thatβs a fun little toilet book.
Yay! Welcome! π₯³
Question, is your username batarians because of the video game Mass Effect, or is it just coincidence?
Yep, that's why!
Also howβd it feel being the first ship in the delta quadrant?
Hahaha fantastic! Fellow Mass Effect Melbourne nerd, love it.
Yay! Welcome to the club - and yes, that club is both the DT as well as the "No idea" kind :)
