Yeah yeah, I know they're not a monolith. The thing is, "out there" doesn't help me. People say "DisplayPort women exist," but any time I take a look around all I see is everybody flaunting their HDMI knowledge, and no matter how many times I bring up DisplayPort, I get no bites! Not even a nibble!
Try and find somewhere with a video wall, made up of multiple screens - perhaps some sort of trade expo, shopping centre (mall), public 'big screen' or an art gallery.
Those looking at the front of the screen, where the image goes, those are your HDMI girls. Those looking at the back of the screen, seeing how it's powered, connected, wired up etc, those are your displayport girls.
