It's the perfect opportunity, how isn't every single NSFW poster (OC or not) spamming relevant things? I've seen two posts about it, none of which were actually fitting.

There was at least one post in the nsfwsphere.

A couple girlies did show up in the comments with tit pics on lemmyshitpost which was badass. For the most part fediNSFW doesn't really interact with the rest of the fediverse. They're just kind of focused on their grind.

I got banned from lemmyshitpost, there is only one mod and he's a complete piece of shit. I called out a bot and got banned for being "an agent of Reddit", despite being off that site for years now. He also says a bunch of racist and sexist shit.

Oh! My dude that's the lemmy.today server. Yeah fuck that guy.

Go to !lemmyshitpost@lemmy.world, that's where the magic happens. Just don't post politics or you'll start a biblical 3 days of corn. And sometimes they're really allergic to actual jokes.

!TheShitpostOffice@lemmy.dbzer0.com is good too, it's a little more "high quality" shitposting

I'm too good of a shitposter and have been banned from most of those communities and/or blocked them because of power tripping mods.

You were spamming every post in the community with the same inane comment, what DID you expect? You would have been banned from any community for that behaviour.

[-] Nurse_Robot@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

I was replying to every comment made by a bot, stating that it was a bot. Every other community banned the bot, that community is the only one that banned me.

That's what the report function is for. And the block button. You just made a nuisance of yourself for everybody else.

The mod is the also the poster. There's no point in reporting on that com. Also it's not against any rules

kind of like the bot did? but somehow wasn't banned...

The bot was posting stuff that was on topic for the community. Nice thing about lemmy is, we can have different interests and ignore the communities we don't like. Including those that repost stuff from reddit. Guess what happens when you go into a community and try to gatekeep it as an outsider, though?

My guess would be that they're talking about this.

FWIW, while that poster is an attractive lady, she's also generally pretty cool even if you disregard that.

Showerthoughts

A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The most popular seem to be lighthearted clever little truths, hidden in daily life.

Here are some examples to inspire your own showerthoughts:

Rules

  1. All posts must be showerthoughts
  2. The entire showerthought must be in the title
  3. No politics
    • If your topic is in a grey area, please phrase it to emphasize the fascinating aspects, not the dramatic aspects. You can do this by avoiding overly politicized terms such as "capitalism" and "communism". If you must make comparisons, you can say something is different without saying something is better/worse.
    • A good place for politics is c/politicaldiscussion
  4. Posts must be original/unique
  5. Adhere to Lemmy's Code of Conduct and the TOS

If you made it this far, showerthoughts is accepting new mods. This community is generally tame so its not a lot of work, but having a few more mods would help reports get addressed a little sooner.

Whats it like to be a mod? Reports just show up as messages in your Lemmy inbox, and if a different mod has already addressed the report, the message goes away and you never worry about it.
