Yeah I agree, but I don't know how you can make the fine scale appropriately for different organizations. Maybe the government and union should get an ownership stake.
That's why firing the executives would be so much more effective, I just don't know how that could work with the government forcing a company to fire someone. That being said, I also don't know how they should be able to force workers to work, so maybe that could be some sort of condition.
Especially someone in another country working for a foreign owned company.
Ideally the contract should not have been renewed and another (Canadian and not a for-profit company) service provider hired.
