CAQ got zero seats, which I'm happy about.
And the PQ got a minority with QS having enough seats to hold the balance of power, so about as good of a result as could be hoped.
I just wish the PQ was more left-wing like it used to be, it's really the only thing bothering me about today's results.
My hunch is that the PCQ will be far easier for PSPP to work with.
Cherry on top was that Legault promised proportional representation without a referendum then reneged the commitment preventing them from winning any seats.
You mean the same Legault who lifted the curfew for his birthday?
PQ is very neolib from what I can tell. Oil and gas, pipelines, fuel cost subsidies, pro USA (somewhat)
I mean yeah but so is every other party but QS, but as I understand they're not quite as bad as your comment suggests.
A lot of the stuff you mentioned is more the party going "eh, we'll think about it". Like, the pipeline thing is just PSPP going "we're not going to preemptively refuse any plans, but every previous time one has been proposed it's made zero sense"
I see, thanks for clarifying!
